I'm a member of the Love Tribe, which is a small, intentional community of adults who live together for the purpose of supporting and cultivating our shared spiritual values. The things we value the most are love, relationship, God, the Goddess, and living unselfishly - all with committment.

 I do a lot of service and manage many aspects here in my little community, like finances, our business and keeping up our property. There is a lot of work to do around here and I try my best to undertake it in a happy spirit of unselfish giving, while at the same time remembering to stay connected to my friends, God and the Goddess.

 What I really want to do in my heart of hearts is to help and love people. Hopefully, being part of Zaadz will help me do that. I tend to doubt my ability to really help, when there are so many products, methods, tools, workshops and enlightenment weekends out there. How can I, personally, make a difference to anyone? But I'll cast aside my doubts because I believe that I am a part of something good, really good and truly wholesome. What that is, is a complete life that isn't compartmentalized into the typical church attendance on Sunday, or what have you, and then the rest of the week pursuing ordinary goals and values. Spiritual life as I know it, and live it, is something more holistic, you could say. Something that has a purpose that is rooted in truth, life. I don't have that lost, floaty uncertainty that I used to feel so much.

 It seems to me that what people really need in the world is more love from people that are committed to you and who you are committed to. And that does not necessarily mean in a coupled relationship, either. Fundamentally, what I'm talking about is deep friendship - which could happen between a couple, but is certainly not limited to that. I am lucky to have 11 deep friendships here. And now that I have had a taste of what that's like, and have learned how to hold up my end of a deep friendship pretty well.

 Finding what you want in life takes work. What's needed is your aim to make that work apply, have traction and make a difference to you and others as a result. There is a way to apply yourself to living that can make the investment pay off. That takes a real foundation, a real live working arena in which to apply yourself and be supported in, and plenty of committment. You need a basis in which to live that isn't just a fabrication of your mind or a random mixture of ideas, but something concrete and pragmatic.
